We were mesmerized by the kaleidoscope of marine life beneath the crystal-clear waves, guided by instructors who seemed to possess some kind of sea magic. Against the breathtaking backdrop of Maui's coastline, every flipper flutter felt like a scene from a fantastical tale. Sea Maui
We also really like this company. You'll board the boat off the beach in Kaanapali by Whalers Village. It can be a bit crowded with lines of people waiting to get on the boat, but once you're on board, it's a fantastic trip. They offer a variety of tours including the Xpress Snorkel tour, an Afternoon Tour, and a Half Day Tour for snorkeling. It's worth noting that they are one of the few charters that still go to Honoula Bay.

The reality is that most snorkel companies are pretty much the same. They offer some environmental awareness talk, a little Maui history, and food and beverage. Some are on Sailboats, others on go-fast RIBs (Ridged Hull Inflatables). Everyone says they go to Turtle Town. Spoiler Alert, there are several Turtle Towns. Maui has an abundance of Sea Turtles.
