Beach Access and Detour

Our little beach next door is one of our favorite spots, and like all of Maui’s shorelines, it changes with the seasons. In the winter, strong swells and storms can sometimes wash away the sand at the bottom of the steps. By spring and summer, the sand returns, and the steps lead right back to the water’s edge. When the sand is missing, the last step can be a bit tricky, so we take a short, scenic detour. The map below shows the way, and it’s less than a two-minute walk. We truly appreciate your understanding, and we think you’ll find the extra stroll well worth it. This beautiful little beach is often quiet and uncrowded, making it the perfect place to relax and soak in the magic of Maui. And don’t be surprised if you spot a few turtles resting on the sand, they love it here too.
