The restaurant is conveniently located directly across the street from the condo. It has become a tradition for us to visit on our first day in town. We enjoy ordering takeout and savoring our dinner on the lanai while watching the breathtaking sunset. We have never been disappointed with the food, as everything we have tried has been delicious. Although the prices may be slightly higher than other options, the convenience of the location makes it worth it.
Maui Brewing Company Brewpub

This local brewpub is a hidden gem conveniently located just around the corner from the condo. We have been known to sneak away for a refreshing brew or two. The menu is impressive, offering a variety of delicious options at reasonable prices. Additionally, the happy hour specials are not to be missed. Best of all, it's just a short walk from the condo. Don't miss out on this fantastic spot for a night out or a quick bite to eat.
Miso Phat Sushi

Miso is a fast-food restaurant, that is conveniently located just a five-minute walk from the Condo. We have tried several dishes here, and they have all been delicious. However, it is worth noting that the prices are a bit on the higher side, but this is typical for the west side of the island. One of our favorite dishes is the Poke, which is always in high demand and sells out quickly. As a local tip, we recommend placing your order in the morning to ensure availability and picking it up in the evening. Overall, Miso is a great option for a quick and tasty meal.
McDonald's

For those who crave the convenience of McDonald's, fear not, as there is one located just around the corner. In fact, we have been known to take a leisurely stroll to indulge in their delicious soft-serve ice cream. However, if you're looking for a unique and tasty breakfast option, we highly recommend trying the McDonald's Local Hawaii Breakfast. This delectable dish features your choice of Portuguese sausage or SPAM, paired with eggs and rice. Surprisingly, it's quite delicious and definitely worth a try.
Hawai‘ian Village Coffee

Apologies, Starbucks lovers, the closest Starbucks is approximately seven miles away. However, fear not, as Hawaiin Village Coffee is a fantastic alternative. During our strolls, we frequently make a pit stop for a delicious Cafe Americana. The coffee is of excellent quality and comes at a reasonable price.

We frequent the Beach House due to its convenient proximity to our condo - just a short stroll away. Nestled within the Sands of Kahana, a mere few properties south of us, the Beach House boasts a laid-back, open-air atmosphere, perfect for indulging in island-inspired Hawaiian American cuisine while lounging poolside. The menu offers a range of mid-priced options, and ample bench seating is available. The Beach House's ambiance evokes a sense of being transported to a grand Tiki Hut, making for a truly unique dining experience.

Conveniently located less than a mile away, a mere five-minute drive will transport you to this culinary haven. To avoid disappointment, it is advisable to arrive early. Trust us, you won't regret dining here at least once.

This location is truly one of our top picks. The food is outstanding and reasonably priced, without being over the top. The view is absolutely stunning, and the service is flawless. It's a bit of a hidden treasure, although it can get quite busy. We usually go there for breakfast, but the sunsets are truly breathtaking.

This restaurant is a true local gem. Although it may appear unassuming from the exterior, it boasts a warm and welcoming atmosphere that is characteristic of Ohana. The box lunches are particularly noteworthy, and we have yet to be disappointed by any of the dishes we have tried.
Additionally, the prices are reasonable and won't break the bank. Overall, Joey's Kitchen is a must-visit for anyone seeking an authentic dining experience in the area.

Duke's Beach House

Duke's Beach House is situated on the beautiful north end of Kaanapali Beach. To reach this gem, we usually park at Public Beach Access - Honoapiilani Park and take a leisurely stroll to the restaurant. So far, we've only had breakfast at Duke's, but let me tell you, it's the perfect spot to kickstart and wrap up our morning walk. Our buddies have said good things about the lunch and dinner options too.
The majority of the seating at Duke's is outdoors, and most of it is covered. The staff is super friendly, which adds to the overall experience. However, it's important to note that being right on the beach in Ka'anapali means you'll be paying resort prices. But hey, the view is absolutely breathtaking, making it totally worth a visit.
Castaway Cafe

This charming little beach restaurant is a true hidden gem. We stumbled upon Castaway Cafe during our morning strolls along the pristine beaches of northern Kaanapali. The cafe boasts a prime location right on the beach, offering breathtaking views of the ocean while you dine.
The food at Castaway Cafe is very good. We highly recommend trying their POG mimosas, a refreshing and delicious beverage that is a must-try. While we have only had the pleasure of experiencing their breakfast menu, our friends on the island rave about the quality of their lunches and dinners as well.
Overall, Castaway Cafe is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience in Maui. With its stunning location, delectable cuisine, and friendly staff, it is sure to leave a lasting impression on anyone who visits.

Experience unparalleled ambiance at the Hula Grill, where outdoor dining on the sand allows you to indulge in some of the best food on the island while feeling the sand tickle your toes. Don't miss out on the must-try fish tacos bursting with flavor and freshness, or the out-of-this-world Flatbread. But the true star of the show is the Hula Pie - a masterpiece dessert with a chocolate cookie crust, macadamia nut ice cream, hot fudge, toasted mac nuts, and whipped cream. This massive portion is perfect for sharing (or not!), but be warned - it sells out almost every day, so get your order in early.

As a more relaxed branch of Merriman's, this restaurant never fails to deliver an exceptional dining experience accompanied by live music. Personally, we tend to have lunch there as we enjoy returning to our condo for the breathtaking sunsets. I have to say, everything we've tried so far has been absolutely delicious
Alchemy Maui. Kombucha Bar + Bistro

Alchemy has become one of our favorite restaurants. The food is super delicious. Their Kombucha (Mushroom Tea) is awesome! Check out the menu. The restaurant is really small, so we mainly do takeout. It's kind of in a weird spot. It's just down the street from Island Grocery Depot. Parking is not great. Not a lot of tourists know about Alchemy yet. So keep it on the down-low.

This is one of our favorite Loco Moco spots in Maui. The menu is amazing. Da Kitchen is a popular spot in Kihei, known for its affordable and delicious Hawaiian food, as well as its laid-back atmosphere. Da Kitchen serves authentic Hawaiian cuisine, offering generous portions and a casual ambiance. Although there may be occasional grumbles about long wait times and limited seating, trust me, it's totally worth the wait.
Upscale Dining
If you've never been to Maui, you absolutely have to check out Mamas Fish House. The food and service are absolutely incredible. It's definitely on the pricier side, but trust me, it's worth every penny. They serve both lunch and dinner, but make sure to make a reservation in advance - we usually book up to six months ahead of time. It's about a 45-minute drive from the condo, but I promise you, it's worth the trip!

Merrimans is hands down one of the top-notch fine-dining restaurants on the island. It's nestled on a charming peninsula that boasts a breathtaking view of Kapalua Bay. You might even catch a glimpse of a wedding ceremony taking place - it's that picturesque! If you're looking for the perfect spot to celebrate a special occasion or anniversary, Merrimans is the place to be. Just make sure to book your reservations well in advance, as this place is in high demand. It's only a short 10-minute drive from the condo, so you won't have to travel far to indulge in some of the best cuisines the island has to offer.

The Plantation House is a stunning restaurant situated in a beautiful clubhouse that overlooks the lush Plantation Golf Course in Kapalua. It's the perfect spot to celebrate a special occasion, with its grand and elegant atmosphere. The sweeping views of the world-famous golf course and the ocean are simply breathtaking and make the trip worth it alone. Whenever we have something special to celebrate, we always head to The Plantation House. The best part is that you can usually get a table on short notice.
It's only a 10-minute drive from the condo, so it's super convenient.

If you're craving some imaginative Italian cuisine, top-notch drinks, and friendly service, then head straight to Matteo's Osteria in Wailea. Chef Matteo Mistura goes above and beyond in creating truly unforgettable meals using the freshest local ingredients. Vegans will be delighted to find a separate menu filled with veggie-packed dishes that burst with flavor in every bite. And let me tell you, the lasagna may be simple, but it's hands down the best on the entire island. Personally, I can't get enough of the Costolette, while my wife's favorite is the Tridente. Honestly, everything on the menu is just mind-blowing. It's safe to say that this restaurant has become one of our absolute favorites.

Paia Fishmarket is an old faithful restaurant. We always have a great experience here. Food is mid-price range. It's nice that they have a Lahaina location now. We don't have to drive to Paia for dinner. You can't go wrong at Paia Fishmarket.
Go early because they always have lines to get in.
